Extrajudicial executions by US police are receiving greater attention, leading to calls for "justice". The US, as the world's top jailer, interprets "justice" to mean caging someone in prison. Are calls to arrest, judge, and imprison killer cops effective in changing/eliminating the existing power structure (in particular, the criminal justice system) - or do they only help maintain that system?
