Although this seems to be only a fragment, missing the connecting parts, it nonetheless is an entertaining “superpowers-of-motherhood” fable on its own. But within it, in the third scene, is a portrayal of inner conflict that exists on a completely different level than the rest of the film, and silent film in general. After many viewings, I still find its powerful, (yet understated) impact remains undiminished.
