If you can survive early 20th century faux Orientalism (“nomads of intrigue, mystery, and romance...cruel, and truly Oriental!”), tiresome dialogue in a ridiculously implausible story, and the mishmash that remains when 20 minutes of a 70-minute film are missing, you will be rewarded with a rare gender flip in silent film: the heroine escapes imprisonment and bravely returns to ride to the rescue of the still imprisoned hero.
