The Pleasure Garden
Sorry, nobody gets murdered, blackmailed, or sabotaged (well, almost nobody...). All we got here is just some good old scan'lous sleazers and hard-boiled teasers and the aptly-named “Patsy” with her dog “Cuddles” - i.e., a darkly cynical take on romance, sugar-coated with a familiar touch of light humor. Thankfully, we don't have to listen to corny dialog and cutesy jokes.
