After unwittingly frightening away a thief disguised as a sheik, the bellhop named Rollmops then masquerades as the sheik-thief when he learns that the man was invited to meet and marry the heiress of a millionaire. But because the thief stole a ruby from a religious idol, Rollmops is being trailed by “The Man From Egypt”: a do-or-die bubblegum-chewing assassin.
