Starting 8 September 2020, the flight suspension in effect since March has been lifted and the international airport has reopened.

Visa

Testing

A valid PCR (Negative) test is required that has been done within the past 72 hours, and another PCR mandatory test will be given at the airport for all arrivals above 5 years of age at their own expense.
Requirements for exit testing depend on the policy and procedures the next destination. There is a lab at the departures area.

Note:

Travellers will need to pre-pay for COVID-19 test that will be performed on arrival.
One report warns: "...travellers arriving at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport complain of excessive waiting times, confusion and “chaos” as they line up for on-site Covid-19 test results and transportation, forcing travellers to wait up to eight hours before they can enter the country".

Requirements

Passport Validity: 6 months
Other Documents: An onward or return ticket and proof of sufficient funds are required for entry.
Transit: - Transit without visa with a confirmed onward ticket for a flight to a third country within 48 hours. Must stay in the international transit area of the airport and have documents required for the next destination.
