- Holders of confirmed onward tickets are permitted transit without visa in international transit area for up to 24 hours.
Not applicable to nationals of Afghanistan, who require a visa.

Visa permits double entry, and can be extended up to a maximum of six months including the initial visa period.
Source states: "Foreign nationals can only apply for Pakistan visa from their country of origin OR from the place of legal permanent residence.
Request for visas of a THIRD COUNTRY origin will be decided only by the Ambassador/High Commissioner/Head of Mission/Consulate."
The following passports can enter Pakistan without visa for the period mentioned. After expiry of the period, extension of visa would be required:
Maldives (3 months), Nepal (1 month), Tonga (unspecified period), Trinidad and Tobago (unspecified period), Samoa (1 month).
