General Policy
  1. As of 22 January 2021, flights from the UK, Denmark, South Africa, and Brazil have been suspended.
  2. Traveller arrivals from Brazil, United Kingdom, Denmark and South Africa are suspended.
  3. Starting 11 June 2020, normal (pre-pandemic) visa entry rules return.
  4. Starting 11 June 2020, the ban on international flights has been lifted.

Visa
Testing
  • As of 30 December 2020, arriving travellers are required to submit a negative result of a PCR test (nucleic acid) taken within 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure from the country of origin.
Data Collection
  • All travellers must complete the passenger information form upon arrival.
Quarantine
  • All arriving travellers who visited Brazil, United Kingdom, Denmark and South Africa within the last 10 days will be quarantined for 14 days at places selected by the Turkish official authorities. On the 10th day of the quarantine period, travellers are required to undergo a second PCR test and if the test result is negative, the isolation period will end.

- Transit without visa with a confirmed onward ticket for a flight to a third country within 24 hours. Must stay in the international transit area of the airport and have documents required for the next destination.

Additional Notes

  1. Turkey e-Visa FAQ states that travellers who "arrive at sea ports and intend to visit the seaport city or nearby provinces for touristic purpose are exempt from visa provided that their stay does not exceed seventy two (72) hours. However, if you arrive in/depart from our country by air for your cruise tour, you must obtain a visa."
  2. Maximum stay of 90 days per 180 days, starting from the first entry date.
  3. Visa on arrival also available, for a maximum stay of 90 days.
