General Policy

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) reports: "SKED INTL FLT RESUMED WITH LIMITED AIR TRANSPORT OPS FM/TO OOMS AIRPORT STARTING 01 OCT 2020...RESUMPTION WILL BE BTN OMAN AND GCC COUNTRIES , EYGPT, SUDAN , PAKISTAN, TURKEY, INDIA, BANGLADESH, THAILAND, MALAYSIA, UK, FRANCE, GERMANY, THE NETHERLANDS, PHILIPPINES , TANZANIA, AND ETHIOPIA.".
Starting from 1 October 2020 until 30 November 2020, under a reciprocal flight arrangement between India and Oman, both Indian and Omani airlines can carry both: 1) nationals/residents of Oman and; 2)Indian nationals holding a valid residency permit of Oman and destined for Oman only.
Tourist and visit visas are no longer available until further notice.

Other Documents

An onward or return ticket and proof of sufficient funds are required for entry.

Transit

- Transit without visa with a confirmed onward ticket for a flight to a third country within 24 hours. Must stay in the international transit area of the airport and have documents required for the next destination.

Dual Nationality

Oman does not recognize dual nationality.
