The eVisa expires 30 days after approval, so must be used within 30 days. To obtain another, must apply again and pay another fee.
Minimum eVisa is for 2 weeks stay with single entry. Other eVisas available: 1 month stay with multiple entry, or 90 day stay with multiple entry.
eVisa can be extended in Bahrain, by visiting Nationality, Passports & Residence and paying the extension fee.
Travellers must have a valid confirmed onward travel ticket to leave Bahrain, and must be capable of
self-support during the visit.
- Holders of confirmed onward tickets are permitted transit without visa in international transit area for up to 24 hours.
Bureau of Consular Affairs, U.S. Department of State warns: "Bahrain does not recognize dual nationality, though
some exceptions are made. In early 2017 Bahrain launched a campaign requiring all dual nationals to declare and register their other nationality with the
government. If you are eligible for Bahraini citizenship, authorities will not issue you a Bahraini passport unless you relinquish your U.S. passport." U.S. policy on dual nationality can be found
