Entry

General Policy
  1. Starting 17 June 2021, for entry travellers need only to present to the airline proof of full vaccination of US FDA or WHO approved COVID-19 vaccine (with final dose received at least 14 days prior to arrival in Palau), along with valid negative PCR COVID-19 test results taken within three days of departure. The previous flight boarding requirement - that travellers first apply to the government to obtain a quarantine certificate - has been removed.
  2. On 24 May 2021, the government announced that although flights between Palau and Taiwan have been suspended due to covid outbreak in Taiwan, flights between Guam and Palau have increased. Other incoming flights are still suspended.
  3. Effective 14 May 2021, Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) canceled all direct flights to Palau, citing Taiwan's stricter COVID-19 protocols as the main reason.
  4. On 17 March 2021, the government announced that twice-weekly flights from Taiwan will begin on April 1.
  5. The Palau Ministry of Health reports: "All commercial air travel to Palau is temporary suspended as of 26 March 2020 until further notice as airlines temporarily halt services."
