General Policy
  1. The Palau Ministry of Health reports: "All commercial air travel to Palau is temporary suspended as of March 26 until further notice as airlines temporarily halt services."
  2. On 17 March 2021, the government announced that twice-weekly flights from Taiwan will begin on April 1.

Leisure Travel
  • Starting 17 March 2021, tour groups from Taiwan are permitted entry. No personal excursions or individual itineraries are allowed.

Entry Requirements

  1. Travellers must provide 2 negative PCR COVID-19 test results, undertaken at the beginning of the 14-day pre-arrival self-quarantine period and the second within 72 hours prior to departure.
  2. Arriving travellers must also undergo appropriate COVID-19 testing during the mandatory post-arrival quarantine.
  3. Travellers with tour groups from Taiwan are exempt from above testing requirements, but must undergo COVID-19 PCR testing at the airport before departure, and only travelers who have a negative test result are allowed to continue their departure procedure.   1. Travellers must undergo a pre-arrival quarantine period for 14 days prior to departure.
  2. Arriving travellers must also undergo mandatory quarantine at a government designated facility for a period up to 14 days, and a self-monitoring, self-quarantine period for an additional 7 days after the mandatory quarantine period.
