  1. Starting 17 August 2020, flights resumed from/to Belarus, Egypt, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine.
  2. Only citizens of the countries with which Kazakhstan resumed direct flights, and who are arriving from that country on a direct flight can enter.

Visa
  • Embassy of Kazakhstan reports: "The government of Kazakhstan has temporarily suspended its unilateral visa-free regime for citizens of 57 states, including the United States, on 17 April 2020. The suspension of the visa free regime is effective until 1 November 2020. The above means that the citizens of the United States who are planning to visit Kazakhstan before 1 November 2020 will need to obtain a visa of the appropriate category at their assigned consular section office".

Testing
  • Starting 26 October 2020, All inbound travellers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test , not older than 72 hours, when crossing the border of Kazakhstan. The PCR test result may be provided both in paper and in electronic format (on smartphone).
